About DayMet CU
We want to be a one-stop resource for all your banking needs. Our hometown, personalized service, fair interest rates, and support for our community set us apart. As a not-for-profit entity, we continue to re-invest our profits in ways that directly benefit our members.
Welcome To DayMet Credit Union
We’re here for you. DayMet Credit Union is a full-service financial institution that exists to help our members achieve financial success. As a credit union, DayMet is a not-for-profit cooperative. Every member is a part-owner. We are governed by a board of directors elected by our membership. Since we do not have stockholders to pay, we return all dividends back to our members via better rates and improved services.
DayMet offers competitive savings rates and dividends, low interest rates on loans, and free or low-fee services that help you make the most of your money.
Our friendly financial experts are available in person and over the phone to help you with your financial needs. Our Online Banking services allow you to access your accounts 24/7 from your computer or smartphone.
You are eligible to join DayMet if you live, work, attend school or worship in Montgomery, Miami, Greene or Clark County in Ohio. You are also eligible to join if your family member already has an account with us. To open your account, simply stop by one of our branches. Your initial $5 deposit activates your membership and provides you access to all of our services. Read more about membership.
Membership is also open to employers, trade groups, clubs and churches who want to offer our services as a group benefit. This is available at no cost to the organization. Read more about becoming a Select Group.
DayMet CU Provides Excess Share Insurance
In addition to the American Share Insurance coverage of $250,000, DayMet automatically provides Excess Share Insurance (ESI) coverage at no cost to members. This includes IRAs that exceed $250,000. ESI adds up to an additional $250,000 in deposit coverage. So, this means deposits and IRAs are covered up to $500,000.
